Definitely digging the earth tones on this one (no pun intended). I think the contrast is fine as is, otherwise you might make things pop that shouldn't and might detract from the overall effect. Unless you already changed it since that comment... I know you edit pretty quickly.
Out of curiosity... How long does a piece take you on average? Seems you're cranking them out with the quickness, man. I wish I had your speed, if not your talent.
thanx for the feedback. totally agree, havent changed a thing on it, contrast is good as it is I think.
I create about 3 works a week I think. Mostly one for 3d, 2d or shooting photos or so, and one for post-work. I should be spending a lot more time on each. My goal is to make one a week. But I really have to push myself to go deeper into all the aspects of the design process. I think that is my biggest weakness at the moment, next to doing to much different styles maybe.. (I replyd this answer already but don't know if you got it so placing it again.. so you might get it 2 times)
That's a pretty good pace, particularly if you're still finding your style and exploring. Not that exploration should ever stop, but usually once you get into a particular grove, most artists tend to crank out pieces faster (for better or worse).
maybe you're right. Its all for fun. So i don't want to force myself to much. but.. definitely know for sure that im never going to do things faster than im doing now.
thnx for the fav and compliment. I don't have like a formula or something. I create about 3 works a week I think. Mostly one for 3d, 2d or shooting photos or so, and one for post-work. - the monitor im currently working on sux, so you might be right about the contrast. will look into that.
- I've sharped only the center, I didn't want that 'overdone' look on this one. hope you understand
- the original psd file and max render was 3000*2250
oh, got it (the sharpening effect)
i recommend putting wallpaper sized deviations. so you may have this at 1024x768 at least, maybe people will love it and make their wallpaper

-adding a little bit contrast
-sharpening a little bit
-rendering in larger dimensions (for example 1280x1024)
